NEXTEP SYSTEMS today announced the official release of Foundation6, which received approval for new deployments by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council earlier this month. Foundation6 is the latest iteration of NEXTEP SYSTEMS' proprietary cloud based, single-platform foodservice technology solution designed specifically for and QSRs and fast casuals, according to a company press release.

How it works

The solution ties together all order points, menu displays and kitchen management into one online tool, mynextep. Menu and item updates through the online interface immediately affect all points of the solution, saving operators time while sparing them the headaches found in legacy solutions pieced together from multiple vendors, said Tommy Woycik, president of NEXTEP.

"Foundation6 is the only platform specifically designed to help operators drive revenue through increased upselling, throughput and order accuracy," he said. "Self-order solutions have also proven to save labor costs for employers, simultaneously increasing customer satisfaction as restaurant employees can focus on food production and assisting diners instead of taking orders."
