FoodTruckRental.com has been launched, with an objective of connecting food truck owners and renters worldwide.
The site allows food truck owners to list their vehicles for rent, long or short term, or for sale. Renters and buyers can search all available trucks by location, equipment, or simply "view all."
Every submission through the site goes direct to the intended food truck owner so the parties can negotiate all terms directly.
FoodTruckRental.com was created by Josh Hiller of RoadStoves (roadstoves.com), which started the "gourmet food truck" rental business.
"We simply can't supply the growing demand for rentals everywhere, but we know the trucks are out there. This is a way for all those individual truck owners out there to get in on the rental business, while making it easier for renters to find available food trucks," Hiller said.
Hiller, a lawyer with experience renting trucks to on-going clients like Kogi and The Grilled Cheese Truck, while serving short term corporate clients like Microsoft, Frito-Lay, ESPN and Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race," has created a sample lease and checklist for FoodTruckRental.com clients.
Additionally, food trucks listed on FoodTruckRental.com can be included in advertising inventory sold through advertiseonfoodtrucks.com, at the choice of the truck owner.
