A new Food Community app by Nommunity locates restaurants for consumers specifically looking for the six most common food preferences: Gluten-free, organic, locally grown, kosher, vegan and vegetarian.

The app is free and available now in the iTunes App Store. In addition to providing a locator, the app is also part of an online community where users can share recipes, food stories and tips. It also allows guests to make reservations, place delivery and take out orders and claim coupons to restaurants.

"The Food Community app connects you with people who share a common food lifestyle, and provides information and links to the best choices for your diet," said JJ Koch, CEO and co-founder of Nommunity.
