Prelag Partners LLC has introduced Next Gen Dine, a cloud-based, mobile restaurant point-of-sale software designed for the iPad.
The solution lets staff take orders, payments and reservations anywhere there is an active Internet connection, according to a news release, and is designed to offer restaurants maximum staff efficiency while reducing the order turnaround time. It also offers restaurant owners customer loyalty, gift card, social media and fine-grained marketing tools, the company said.
Next Gen Dine has teamed with USAePay to offers users the Pay Saber, which attaches to the side of the tablet point of sale and works immediately after connecting.
"Payments at the table bring peace of mind to customer knowing that their credit card information was not misused while they were not looking," Next Gen said in the release. "All credit card information is encrypted when processed for added security in case that the tablet becomes compromised. Customers will leave the restaurant satisfied and wanting to come back
