The National Restaurant Association will host its inaugural Restaurant Finance Summit during NRA Show 2014 at Chicago's McCormick Place. The event will bring together restaurant financial executives and operators, Wall Street analysts, investment groups and lenders, and expert tax and accounting professionals to discuss issues related to the financial health of the restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry, a news release said.
"Financing and finance related issues continue to be a critical focus for restaurateurs looking to expand existing concepts or launch new ones," said NRA's Dave Koenig, VP of Tax and Profitability. "Our goal is to bring these restaurant executives together with potential lenders and investment groups to discuss opportunities in an environment — NRA Show — that embodies the scope and vitality of this industry."
A keynote presentation will be given by Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts, followed by a range of industry-specific sessions, which along with networking breaks and a post-Summit reception, will provide an opportunity for financiers and restaurant industry financial professionals and operators to discuss the overall state of the industry and develop mutually beneficial investment relationships, the release said.
Registration for the Restaurant Finance Summit is $299 for operators and includes full access to all four days of NRA Show exhibit floor and programming, to be held from May 17-20. Participation in the Restaurant Finance Summit is limited and certain qualifications apply. See Restaurant.org/Show for qualification details.
