CHICAGO -- National Systems Corporation (NSC) rolled out its new touchscreen order-taking option for pizza restaurants at the Chicago Pizza Expo July 31.

The TMS/Quik Touch can modernize existing POS systems without replacing terminals and servers, according to a company news release. The new interface fits on top of existing terminals, making it easy to add touchscreen capabilities to older systems, NSC president James Kargman said.

Pizzerias currently using NSC's Ultra TMS system can add the Quik Touch option for nearly $2,500 per touchscreen, including hardware and software, according to the release. Pricing for the complete Ultra TMS system, including Quik Touch, begins at $17,000 for four terminals.

NSC provides foodservice POS and call center solutions to more than 25,000 customers, most of which are Domino's pizzerias, according to the release.
