Blue Planet Grill has opened its Neapolitan pizza concept in the Financial District of New York City. Blue Planet Grill features a rotating brick oven and a staff trained by Chef Giulio Adriani, winner of the Gold Medal at the 2010 World Pizza Championship in Salsomaggiore, Italy.
Adriana has also won the International Pizza World Championship in Napoli (2009), the Pizza World Cup in Lecce (2008) and the famous World's Best Pizza — America's Plate in New York (2010).
"We wanted to make the best pizza in the neighborhood, pizza to be proud of. We addressed Chef Giulio and created our signature masterpiece. We are sure that our pizza will be honored to be included in the Culinary Encyclopedia of New York," owner Jacob Krumgalz said in a press release.
