Phoenix-based NYPD Pizza has rolled out a spring/summer seasonal menu at all 10 of its locations.
According to a news release, the new menu includes:
- Roasted Caprese Pizza: The Roasted Caprese Pizza is topped with slow roasted, vine-ripened tomatoes and a hint of fresh rosemary, and also includes smoked mozzarella, a balsamic glaze and chopped basil.
- Strawberry Fields Forever Salad: This salad includes mixed greens, fresh strawberries, Fuji apples, sliced almonds and Gorgonzola tossed with low-fat Zinfandel vinaigrette.
- Strawberry Pizzoli: A twist on NYPD's homemade cannoli recipe, the strawberry Pizzoli features a thin and flaky sweetened pizza crust topped with cannoli filling, layered with sliced strawberries, sliced almonds and finished with whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
"We selected dishes that are both fresh and sweet," CEO Rich Stark said in a news release. "Our Roasted Caprese Pizza is topped with fresh ingredients like chopped basil, rosemary and vine-ripened tomatoes, and we are sweetening up our seasonal salad and dessert with fresh strawberries. The spring and summer menu offers a refreshing escape from the heat."
In addition to its seasonal menu launch, NYPD Pizza recently announced its plans to open two new locations. This spring, it will open at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport's Terminal 2. This summer, NYPD Pizza will open a new location in the heart of Tempe's Mill Avenue District on the Northwest corner of 3rd Street and Mill Avenue.
