NYPD Pizza signs with BBI to franchise globally

Beautiful Brands International announced a joint venture with Paul Russo to franchise NYPD Pizzeria, headquartered in Orlando, Fla. Russo founded NYPD Pizza in 1996.

Currently, NYPD Pizzeria sells its pizza, salads, sandwiches and other classic Italian entrées in two franchise store sizes: NYPD Pizza Metro Unit and NYPD Pizza Precinct. Both options are available worldwide.

The former is a 900-square-foot delivery/take-out unit. The larger version starts at 1,800 square feet for full or quick service, take out and delivery. Both options offer catering and a full menu, with the possibility of a bar or game room depending on demographics.

The venture will utilize BBI's organizational and support system to market and franchise the brand nationally and globally. BBI's support will include marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales and more.
