Panago Pizza adds new flavors for fall

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — Takeout and delivery pizza franchise Panago Pizza has launched two new products, the Meatball Pizza and Ketchup Chicken Wings, as part of its fall promotion.
Panago developed an Italian-style meatball topping, seasoned with a combination of toasted breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, parsley and Romano cheese. The meatballs are served on a base of Italian tomato sauce and covered with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
The inspiration for Ketchup Chicken Wings came from the ketchup potato chip, a flavor profile popular in Canada, according to a news release.
The new menu items are free from trans fat and MSG.
Panago Pizza currently has more than 155 stores across Canada. System-wide sales for Panago exceeded $120 million in 2006.
