Papa John's intros Sicilian Meats specialty pizza

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's announced the rollout of a new Sicilian Meats specialty pizza.

According to a news release, the pie is topped with four meats: Italian salami, pepperoni, sliced Linguica sausage and spicy Italian sausage. The pizza will sell for $11.99 from now through March 27, and get ad support from print media, local TV and two weeks of national TV.

The chain also announced a promotional partnership with Coca-Cola and Best Buy. From now until June 30, customers who purchase either one 2-liter or two 20-ounce Coca-Cola beverages from Papa John's will receive a coupon from Best Buy, good for 10 percent off entertainment software, including console or PC video games, DVDs and CDs, or 10 percent off HDTVs priced at $699 and higher.

From now through May 22, visitors to also can play a Click 'N Win instant game, with the opportunity to win a grand prize of a $1,000 Best Buy Gift Card, or one of 90 $100 Best Buy Gift Cards. All who register and play the game will receive a free food offer from Papa John's for an order of a choice of cheesesticks, breadsticks or two 20-ounce Coca-Cola beverages when purchasing a large or extra-large pizza (at regular menu price) through the Web site.
