LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Papa John's has partnered with Paramount Pictures to highlight the release of the new feature movie "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events," a movie based on the first three books of the New York Times best-selling children's series by Daniel Handler.
According to a news release, Papa John's contribution is the Papa's Fortunate Deal. During December, customers purchasing a large pizza with up to five toppings for $13.99 will receive a limited edition "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events" sample CD-ROM. The disc includes a playable demo of Activision's Lemony Snicket's PC game, feature film previews, celebrity interviews and other extras, including movie- and game-inspired wallpapers, screensavers, icons and e-cards. As a special bonus, the CD-ROM also includes Activision Value's Skateboard Park Tycoon 2004 PC game. This offer is available at all participating Papa John's restaurants.
The promotion will ad support through TV, print media and restaurant promotional materials, including boxtoppers and doorhangers.
