Papa John’s taps Radware to boost online solution

With the objective of increasing its online business performance, Papa John’s has integrated Radware’s AppDirector, LinkProof and DefensePro software solutions, all powered on Radware’s OnDemand Switch hardware platforms.

Radware, based in New Jersey, provides integrated application delivery solutions for business-centered networking.

With an e-commerce website that has earned $2 billion, and with more than 25 percent of all global sales resulting from online or mobile device transactions, Papa John's needed to advance its technological capabilities in order to support its vast application and network infrastructures.

Papa John's has leveraged Radware's suite of products to manage and strengthen a number of critical network areas, including:

  • AppDirector– An application delivery controller (ADC) that provides Papa John’s with non-stop availability and optimized server performance via a set of acceleration functions. AppDirector offers a multi-layered security approach to protect networks from emerging attacks and vulnerability exploitation;
  • LinkProof – Bypasses ISP outages and other network issues so Papa John’s can seamlessly manage multiple ISP links to quickly react and avoid network issues. LinkProof also provides disaster recovery protection in case of an outage, and the ability to circumvent failed connections;
  • DefensePro – A complete security solution that offers an Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Network Behavioral Analysis (NBA), Denial-of-Service (DoS) Protection and Reputation Engine. The solution uses behavioral based real-time technology to detect and mitigate attacks without the need for human intervention and without blocking legitimate user traffic.
