The San Francisco Business Times has named Patxi's CEO Bill Freeman among its 2013 Most-Admired CEOs in the Bay Area. Freeman was awarded the honor in the Small Business Category, joining 11 other local CEOs recognized.

"I am truly honored to have been chosen for this award. In truth, I would not have gotten here without the incredible support, hard work and dedication of the Patxi's team. They are who make our company great and who live our purpose – to nourish, entertain and restore balance while providing an opportunity for our customers to connect in a meaningful way with those they cherish, every day. Pizza is simply the vehicle by which we get to fulfill that purpose every day," Freeman said.

Also this year, Inc. Magazine ranked Patxi's as No. 24 on the Fastest Growing Food & Beverage Companies list. Esquire Magazine named it one of the "Top Ten Life Changing Pizzas," and readers of the San Francisco Weekly voted Patxi's "Best Pizza."

Patxi's Pizza currently owns and operates nine locations in the Bay Area and two in Denver. The brand will be expanding to the Seattle and Santa Barbara, Calif., markets in 2014, as well as adding several new stores to both the San Francisco and Denver markets.
