Peter Piper Pizza unveils new design to appeal to younger generations

Phoenix-based Peter Piper Pizza has unveiled a new restaurant design created to appeal to young families.

According to the Arizona Republic, the makeover includes a new logo, color patterns, large- and small-group seating options, flatscreen TVs, digital menu boards and free Wi-Fi. There is also a larger wine and craft beer selection.

Peter Piper President Charles Bruce told the publication that these changes were made after much research was done on what Millennials want. The demographic tends to eat out often and are "interested in pleasing themselves as well as their children."

Peter Piper currently has one restaurant in the new design and plans another in the Arrowhead, Ariz., area this summer. The chain hopes to have all 140 locations in the new design by 2018.
