Pi Pizzeria seeking best home-brewed beer

April 25, 2013

Pi Pizzeria is hosting a contest for home brewers to see who can make the best High Alpha Ale. According to Tulsa World, the submissions must have an alcohol-by-volume content no greater than 4.1 percent, per Oklahoma regulations.

Pi Pizzeria Brewmaster Clint Engles told Tulsa World that stipulation makes the contest harder.

Entrants must submit three bottles of their brew by May 28. Two will be used in the first round, and the third will be used for those who reach the finals. Employees from a local beer supply store will judge the submissions.

The winner's beer will be served at a Pi Pizzeria.
