Pie Five expands in Fort Worth

Dec. 11, 2011

Taking advantage of a recent credit facility increase to grow its footprint, Pie Five Pizza Co., a fast casual spinoff of Pizza Inn, has opened its fourth location in Fort Worth, Texas.

Pie Five has opened four locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth market in six months, offering customers the option of any sauce and topping combination or one of 11 specialty pies on the menu. Each pizza is assembled in front of the customer on a 9-inch crispy thin or classic pan crust, baked and ready to eat in less than 5 minutes.

"At Pie Five, the customer gets to decide. There are no limitations. It's fresh, it's fast and it's tailored to the individual," said Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of Pizza Inn Holdings Inc.

The next Pie Five restaurant is set to open in January at Beltline and the Tollway in Addison, Texas. Four more DFW locations are planned for the first half of 2012.
