Pie Five Pizza Co. announced the opening of its first franchise location today in Holladay, Utah, just outside of Salt Lake City.
"Pie Five is changing the way Americans enjoy pizza. Our guests can choose from four crusts, thousands of topping combinations and have a piping hot individual pizza in less than 5 minutes," said Randy Gier, Pie Five CEO. "We are excited to open our first franchise location in Holladay and look forward to sharing our revolutionary pizza concept with all the pizza lovers in the Salt Lake City area."
Pie Five debuted in June 2011 in Fort Worth, Texas. There are now nine locations open in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and franchise agreements for another 38 restaurants to-date in Utah, Charlotte, North Carolina, Florida and Kansas City.
The Utah unit is franchised by John Gilleland. To celebrate the opening, Pie Five in Holladay is giving away free pizza for a year to five fans. More information about the sweepstakes is available at piefiveutahsweeps.com.
Pie Five in Holladay is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pizzas are $6.79 each and the menu also features salads and a cookie pie for dessert.
