ATLANTA — Pilgrim's Pride Foodservice has added to its line of chicken wings with the introduction of new Pierce Chicken Boneless Wing Dings and Boneless Wing-Zings.
"By offering our most popular brand of wings in both bone-in and boneless varieties, we're helping operators appeal to consumers who might not normally eat wings," said Keith Arnold, vice president of marketing for Pilgrim's Pride Foodservice. According to the company, menuing boneless wings along with their bone-in counterparts can help operators increase total wing sales by as much as 30 percent.
Boneless Wing Dings have a golden breading and a mild, versatile flavor, while Boneless Wing-Zings offer a peppery "zing" flavor. Both are fully cooked to provide heat-and-serve convenience from the fryer, conventional oven or pizza oven, and can be used in a variety of menu applications.
