GREENVILLE, S.C. -- A man was charged with kidnapping and weapons charges on Sept. 16 following the abduction of a pizza delivery driver who happened upon an assault of another man.

According to the Greenville News, the man being assaulted got control of the man who was attacking him, but then the attacker fled into the pizza delivery driver's car. The attacker then ordered the delivery driver at gunpoint to leave the scene, but the delivery driver insisted the suspect empty his gun first, according to police.

The attacker complied but then ordered the delivery driver to proceed a short distance, where he met up with a juvenile, who drove him away in another car.

Sheriff's deputies later arrested the juvenile and the male suspect later turned himself in.
