PHOENIX—A pizza delivery driver returning to his car after bringing an order to an apartment complex was shot to death on the night of Nov. 2.
According to The Arizona Republic, delivery driver Avni Dobratiqi, 33, ran from the suspect in an attempted robbery, but was shot in the back as he fled. Dobratiqi died at a Phoenix hospital a couple of hours after the shooting.
"He (Dobratiqi) still had money on him, so it doesn't look like he got any money," Police Lt. Mike Hobel said of the robber.
Dobratiqi reportedly was an Albanian citizen.
Currently, police only have a sketchy description of the shooter.
