MARIETTA, Ga. -- A Pizza Hut delivery driver was strangled to death on the night of Oct. 16 during a delivery run near Marietta.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Cobb County police spokesman Brody Staud said Pizza Hut employees called 911 about 10:30 p.m. to report that one of the store's drivers was not back from an 8:30 p.m. delivery.

Police went to the location of the delivery and found the body of Paul Kevin Wojcik, 45, of Smyrna, inside a vacant apartment. According to the report, three of the four apartments in the building were vacant; residents of the fourth apartment were not aware of the crime.

Police haven't said whether Wojcik's money was stolen, but his vehicle was found in the parking lot.
