Pizza Fusion hosts Dine Out For No Kid Hungry fundraiser

Sept. 13, 2012

Pizza Fusion is hosting a Dine Out For No Kid Hungry national fundraising initiative throughout September. At all of its U.S. restaurants, Pizza Fusion is collecting donations in support of No Kid Hungry, a non-profit organization committed to ending childhood hunger in the U.S.

Money raised will go toward the No Kid Hungry foundation to help end childhood hunger by connecting kids to effective nutrition programs such as school breakfast and summer meals.

"It is heartbreaking to see how many kids in this country are affected by childhood hunger," said Vaughan Lazar, CEO and co-founder of Pizza Fusion. "I felt compelled to do something to help our country's kids. As a restaurant, we provide a powerful vehicle for driving awareness and supporting this very important cause."

During Pizza Fusion's fundraiser, when guests donate:

  • $1, they will receive a coupon for a free chocolate chip cookie on their next visit;
  • $5, they will receive a coupon for a free flatbread and dip trio on their next visit;
  • $10, they will receive a coupon for a free large cheese pizza on their next visit;
  • $20, they will receive a free No Kid Hungry t-shirt (while supplies last; see restaurant for details).

Participating Pizza Fusion restaurants are also donating a portion of their proceeds for the month of September to No Kid Hungry as well. All Dine Out For No Kid Hungry coupons are valid on the next visit for dine-in only, not valid with other offers and expire on Oct. 30, 2012.
