Pizza Hut plans to double its Quebec presence to 80 units in the next two to five years. According to the Montreal Gazette, the province has 40 Pizza Hut outlets.

As the chain expands, it will look for franchisees to operate the "new concept," which focuses mainly on a delivery component.

According to Sabir Sami, president of Yum! Canada, delivery units are the fastest-growing segment in the country. The new delivery units feature 900 to 1,200 square feet of space, and back-of-house equipment such as high-speed ovens and fryers for wings.

Pizza Hut has generated more sales revenue than any other pizza chain in Quebec over the past four years, according to the article.
