Pizza Hut Canada creates 'Aphrocheesiac' gift for fans

Pizza Hut Canada has come up with a new, branded "gift" for its loyal fans — "Aphrocheesiac," a combination of parmesan and chili. The chain will gift 100 bottles of the creation starting Feb. 21.

"Aphrocheesiac" was unveiled to celebrate Valentine's week and is the brainchild of Pizza Hut Canada's digital team and longtime ad agency GRIP, according to a news release.

The team has created quirky gifts in the past, including the "Eau de Pizza Hut" fragrance in 2012, and Pizza Hut wrapping paper for the 2013 holiday season.

"The love Pizza Hut has for our fans is just as potent as Aphrocheesiac," said Tatiana Carrascal, director of Marketing, Pizza Hut Canada."Canadian Pizza Hut fans are funny and inventive, so their comments and messages inspire us to find new ways to have fun and celebrate how Pizza Hut brings people together."
