Pizza Hut franchisees sign agreement with SpeedLine POS

July 16, 2013

Pizza point-of-sale provider SpeedLine Solutions Inc. announced that Pizza Hut franchise companies Capital Pizza Huts and Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne have signed 5-year agreements for ongoing point-of-sale software support and upgrades.

The agreements apply to Capital's 89 Pizza Hut and 9 Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers restaurants, and 47 Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne (Ind.) locations.

"In our restaurants, we rely on our point-of-sale systems. Although we have our own first-level support staff, it is critical to be able to contact SpeedLine when we need expert-level assistance," said Capital IT Director Vic Boydo. "This agreement with SpeedLine will also equip our restaurants with ongoing software upgrades to keep our POS technology up to date."

Pizza Hut of Fort Wayne has been using SpeedLine POS software in its restaurants since 2007.

"This agreement locks in favorable rates, and provides backup to our in-house support staff to ensure uninterrupted service to our restaurants," said Director of Information Technology Kevin Espy.
