Pizza Hut has the power of persuasion

July 27, 2011

A new study shows that Pizza Hut's ads persuade Americans better than any other pizza chain. Ace Metrix ranked pizza chains' ads based on a consumer survey of persuasiveness.

According to the Huffington Post, Pizza Hut ads took seven of the slots in the study's top 10 ads, including first and second place. The highest-scoring ad featured Pizza Hut's new ultimate stuffed crust pizza.

Domino's introduced fewer ads than Pizza Hut -- just six entrants -- however, three took the remaining slots in the top 10.

The study also proved that pizza chains don't need to be the most frequent advertisers to achieve the biggest bang for their marketing dollars. Pizza Hut has introduced 20 commercials in 2011, with 13 landing in the top 20. On the other hand, Domino's launched only six new commercials, but three of them made the top 10.
