Pizza Hut UK has taken a page from the Pizza Hut Middle East system with this week's launch of its Cheeseburger Pizza. The pizza features a crust stuffed with mini cheeseburgers and originally appeared in the Middle East in the spring of 2012.
According to the company's website, the pizza includes 2,880 calories.
A company spokesperson told the Mirror that the Cheeseburger Pizza is "just one item from our menu and is designed to be an enjoyable, fun treat to share with family and friends with 288 calories per slice. This is the latest in our crust innovation — which is what we are famous for."
The launch has generated nearly 500 comments — both positive and negative — on the brand's website since this morning.
