Pizza Hut U.S. posts flat comps in September

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Yum! Brands, parent company of Pizza Hut, said comparable-store sales at the chain's 1,800 domestic company-owned units were flat for the four weeks ended Oct. 7. According to a news release, comps were down 3 percent in the same period in 2005.
For the third quarter, Pizza Hut's U.S. comps were down 5 percent compared to minus 3 percent in 2005.
