ATLANTA -- A Pizza Hut delivery driver was carrying only $15, chicken wings and a large pizza when he was killed Oct. 16, according to The Associated Press.

Paul Wojcik, 45, was strangled to death during a delivery to what turned out to be a vacant apartment in Marietta, Ga. Police have yet to make any arrests in the case.

Wojcik took the Pizza Hut job in early October after being laid off from an elevator company, according to the report. He was to begin work at another elevator company Oct. 21.

Pizza Hut employees called police after Wojcik was nearly two hours late returning from the delivery. When police went to the apartment complex, they found Wojcik dead in a vacant apartment.

"They just killed him cold-heartedly for no reason," Wojcik's wife, Mary, told live11.com. "Why they did this I don't know, but I sure hope they catch him because this was such a senseless act."
