Pizza Hut's Italian Bistro cracks 100-unit mark

Wichita Business Journal: Officials with Pizza Hut were in Wichita, Kan., Dec. 19 to celebrate the opening of the 100th Pizza Hut Italian Bistro. The bistro concept combines the chain's traditional pizza with many new Italian-style items in a dine-in restaurant.

"I think they're reaffirming the fact that eating in is going to be as profitable as carryout," said Dan Carney, who cofounded Pizza Hut with brother, Frank, and who still lives in Wichita. "We've always tried new items and new ways to make things go."
