Pizza Inn fills board seat vacated by Rogers

Sept. 19, 2002

THE COLONY, Texas -- Pizza Inn, Inc. (Nasdaq: PZZI) announced that B. Keith Clark, the company's senior vice president and general counsel, has been appointed to serve on its board of directors, filling the seat vacated in August by Jeff Rogers, its former CEO.

Rogers resigned from the company after Pizza Inn's board determined he could not repay a $1.9 million loan from the company.

In Rogers' 12-year tenure, he helped Pizza Inn reverse long-term loss trends and stem the tide of store closures.

Clark has been with Pizza Inn for more than five years and currently oversees the company's legal, credit and collections, and risk management departments.
