Pizza Inn recognizes top franchisee

THE COLONY, Texas — Pizza Inn Inc. has recognized Greg Clairday of Jonesboro, Ark., as the recipient of the chain's "Difference Maker" award, presented at Pizza Inn's National Franchise Convention in Williamsburg, Va.
The award is given annually to the Pizza Inn franchisee with an outstanding record of providing an exceptional customer experience, as well as someone who has made significant contributions to other franchisees in the Pizza Inn family.
"Greg is always first to give of his time and energy to the Pizza Inn system, and is a constant source of calm and expertise for the system to tap into," said Tim Taft, president and CEO of Pizza Inn. "We're proud of him and I know his family is too."
Clairday began his career with Pizza Inn while still in his teens, helping his father, Pizza Inn franchisee Bobby Clairday, with the family's Jonesboro, Ark., restaurant. In 1998, he became an area developer for the Arkansas region. He currently serves as vice president of Clairday Foods, a family-owned business based out of Jonesboro, and serves on Pizza Inn's national advertising board of directors (PIAP).
