Pizza Inn Inc. has selected Speedline POS as the recommended point of sale system for all company-owned and franchised Pizza Inn restaurants, the company has announced. Pizza Inn also has implemented SpeedLink Enterprise, the SpeedLine enterprise reporting and central menu management solution, at its head office in The Colony, Texas.
"We made our selection based on franchisee feedback and an in-depth side-by-side comparison of SpeedLine with several other POS systems," said Pizza Inn vice president of operations Jason Daniel. "Our franchisees who use the system gave SpeedLine their overwhelming endorsement, and the trial installation in our flagship store in Denton, Texas, was a very positive experience."
Daniel quoted timely, high-quality customer service as a key factor in the decision.
The importance of technology in Pizza Inn's growth plans spurred the company's decision to recommend a single point-of-sale provider to franchisees. Standardizing on a single POS will allow Pizza Inn to roll out and leverage new business intelligence and online ordering initiatives more effectively.
