Toronto-based Pizza Pizza has announced the launch of its first mobile ordering app for the iPad platform, a follow up to its award-winning iPhone app.

The new iPad app includes a "pizza builder," a visual tool that allows viewers to see representations of their pizza creations. The app also features "Spin-to-Win," a game that appears at the end of the ordering process granting users two chances to spin and win a free menu item that can be added to a customer's next order.
"Ordering through our mobile channels is fun, intuitive and fast but, more importantly, it's simple," said Pat Finelli, the company's chief marketing officer. "Our customers place great importance on ordering convenience. They want the power to choose how, what and when they order, and to do so in the quickest and easiest way possible. This new app gives them that, and more."
Pizza Pizza's iPad app also features a "favorite order" feature that allows one-click ordering and saves up to five orders; a restaurant locator by location/GPS with intuitive map application; synchronization with other Web-profiles, including the option of using a Facebook login; variety of payment options, including university student meal cards; and a complete menu.
Pizza Pizza's apps are developed by Plastic Mobile and available through iTunes or pizzapizza.ca.
