Pizza Pizza promo pushes online and mobile orders

Toronto-based Pizza Pizza has launched a new promotion encouraging customers to order online.

From now through July 15, customers can create their own Euro pizza online at or through the company's iPhone app and, by doing so, will be entered for a chance to win one of four 2012 Fiat 500 Pops.

The online-driven promotion is part of an ongoing strategy for Pizza Pizza to engage its web savvy customers.

"An increasing number of our customers are ordering online and through our iPhone app because it's easy and convenient," said Pat Finelli, chief marking officer for Pizza Pizza. "The Euro pizza and Fiat 500 giveaway is another way for us to engage people online and have a little fun while we're at it."

Euro pizzas can be created using any of Pizza Pizza's 30-plus toppings, such as the Greek-inspired Kalamata olives, Roma tomatoes or Feta cheese, or the Italian Quattro Formaggi.

Forty entrants will be selected to try one in four winning keys in August at a special event at Pizza Pizza's headquarters in Toronto.
