SSP America, an operator of food and beverage brands in travel locations worldwide, has announced the opening of Pizzeria Piccola in General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) in Milwaukee, Wisc.
The 1,479-square-foot restaurant has joined the two other Bartolotta Group concepts in serving the 4 million passengers traveling through Concourse C annually.
Pizzeria Piccola features authentic, Italian, Neapolitan-style pizza, with hand-rolled dough and fresh toppings. The restaurant’s design includes warm woods, authentic Cream City brick wall, café curtains, schoolhouse lighting and traditional furnishings.
"We are thrilled to continue to build our partnership with The Bartolotta Group and General Mitchell Airport to provide authentic cuisine that accurately portrays the taste of Milwaukee to our traveling customers,” said Les Cappetta, SSP America's president and CEO. “Pizzeria Piccola will serve as a great addition to our existing restaurants."
