Podcast Grill episode discusses NRA's 'Conserve'

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Dawn Sweeney, chief executive officer of the National Restaurant Association, will appear on the next episode of Podcast Grill, hosted by Fast Casual magazine publisher Paul Barron.
 
Sweeney will discuss the rollout of the association's new Conserve initiative and Web site (www.Conserve.Restaurant.org), designed to provide education, resources, tips, tools and best practices on how the nation's restaurants and foodservice locations can conserve natural resources and become more sustainable.
 
The podcast also highlights how restaurants are increasing their efforts to become more environmentally friendly. In this episode, Barron and Sweeney provide restaurant operators with an overview of what restaurants are doing now, steps they can take going forward and how the NRA is helping.
