CALGARY, Alberta -- Brad Holt, chairman of Comac Food Group Inc., announced the company's president, John G. Beauparlant, will resign on March 31 to pursue other interests.

Comac is a Canada-based franchisee of 250 food outlets, including Domino's Pizza, Pastel's Cafe and Company's Coming Bakery Cafe.

According to a release, while Comac searches for Beauparlant, he will assist the company in transitional matters.

"Mr. Beauparlant has been instrumental in the repositioning of the company," said Holt. "Through his leadership, Domino's has demonstrated positive same-store sales growth over the last six years and is well positioned for continued aggressive expansion in the future."
