Minneapolis-based Punch Pizza, a seven-unit Neapolitan-style pizza concept, has found a way to capitalize on two of the most compelling offers in marketing – "free" and "immediate" – all while relaying their commitment to ongoing culinary excellence.
Last week, the company debuted a coupon on Flickr that offers one free beer, glass of wine or soda with each pizza purchase through April 5 – 9. The reason for the offer? Managers are gone, the "illicit" offer goes: "The managers have flown to the pizza mecca, Naples, Italy, to bring back more secrets of the world's greatest pizza. Tell your friends. The party's on."
