CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Los Angeles-based RedBrick Pizza, which operates 10 restaurants on the West Coast, announced it will open a store in an 1,800-square-foot Charlotte shopping center space early next year.
According to The Charlotte Observer, the company is known for its wood-fired oven pizzas and its Express Pizza Bar, where customers can choose toppings visually and see their pizzas prepared and baked.
In addition to hand-tossed pizzas, the menu features salads, breadsticks and gelato.
Britt Weaver, RedBrick's master franchisee for the Carolinas, said the company wants to sign contracts for 10 area stores by the end of 2003.
Jim Minidis, a former Little Caesars franchisee, founded RedBrick three years ago.
