Foodservice oil management company Restaurant Technologies Inc. (RTI) has expanded its frying-oil delivery, management, removal and equipment service capability with the addition of a Des Moines, Iowa, depot. Also, the company has added a Memphis, Tenn., depot. RTI opened a Nashville, Tenn., location in 2006.
The company's first Iowa-based oil depot supports more than 130 current customers located throughout Iowa, Eastern Nebraska and Western Illinois. It will also supply and service 80 new installations coming online around the region throughout the next four months. The depot serves as a central services center. Each location installs equipment, and monitors and delivers fresh oil. It also removes used oil for RTI customers, and provides ongoing consultation, training and maintenance.
The new oil depot in Memphis supports 65 current customers located throughout a region covering Western Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, Northern Mississippi and Southern Missouri.
Utilizing 41 regional depots based in U.S. metropolitan markets, RTI delivers new oil in metered, bulk quantities and removes waste oil. The company has added four regional locations within the past 12 months. The depots facilitate restaurant sustainability initiatives through oil credit programs as well, collecting used oil for recycling into biodiesel.
More than 19,000 foodservice locations, including McDonald's, Jack in the Box, Burger King, White Castle and KFC, use the turnkey RTI oil management solution.
