HOUSTON—Point-of-sale system provider Revention POS announced the successful integration of the Electronic Recovery's VeriPizza solution into its system.

According to a news release, VeriPizza works to eliminate the receipt of bad checks by pizza operations.

"The VeriPizza solution uses a patent-pending scoring algorithm to analyze a caller's checking account status at order time, before the food is cooked, instead of 30 minutes later when the driver is standing at the delivery address," said James Eliason, president of Electronic Recovery.

Electronic Recovery claims its VeriPizza system is so advanced, it warrants operators will never have a check returned against their accounts when using its solution.

Revention president Jeff Doyle called VeriPizza one of the most significant and much-needed innovations to hit pizza delivery in years.

"Our clients are constantly looking for new ways to increase their bottom line, and eliminating bad check losses is one of the quickest ways of doing it," Doyle said. "Revention is excited to be the only company in America to have integrated this solution into our software."
