Oct. 3, 2013

Steven Romaniello, International Franchise Association chairman and managing director of Roark Capital, will speak Oct. 8 in Atlanta at a luncheon for the Southeast Franchise Forum in partnership with the Franchise Lending Spotlight Conference. Roark owns a variety of brands, including FOCUS Brands, Arby's and Wingstop.

As the current chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Franchise Association, Romaniello will give an update about the state of franchising. In addition to the IFA update, Romaniello will speak about the common characteristics of major CEOs involved in franchising and how they drive exceptional performance through talent management, evaluation, prioritization and execution and culture.

"This is an especially relevant topic, and we are thrilled Mr. Romaniello will be joining us," said SEFF Chairman Jim Squire.

Celebrating its 25th year, SEFF consists of a growing number of Southeastern franchisors, franchisees and their suppliers, who meet monthly to discuss the latest industry issues, trends and opportunities.
