The Rock, Wood Fired Pizza & Spirits, which describes itself as a "gourmet pizza restaurant with a gritty rock-'n'-roll vibe," opened its newest location in Anchorage, Alaska, on Oct. 21.
The Rock currently has locations in Washington state, Oregon, Colorado and Alberta, Canada, with the Alaska location bringing its total units to 21. Guests at The Rock can choose from a menu of rock 'n' roll-inspired pizzas as well as pastas, sandwiches, salads, appetizers, specialty Rocktails and more, according to a news release.
"We're so excited to be rocking in Alaska," said Don Bellis, co-founder and president of The Rock. "The family culture of our restaurant provides a great place for the community to unwind and enjoy a superb meal."
"We know Anchorage will dig our gourmet pies and rock-'n'-roll concept and we love that we've been welcomed so warmly by the public," added Jay Gigandet, co-founder and CFO of The Rock.
The new franchise restaurant is owned and operated by Gigandet and Bellis' Wedge Corp.
