DALLAS-FORT WORTH -- DiamondTouch POS manufacturer Rockland Technology Group has been ranked the second-fastest-growing technology company in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in the area's Technology Fast 50 Awards.
According to a news release, the annual awards are sponsored by Deloitte & Touche, and rank the fastest-growing technology companies in a particular geographic area based on percentage growth of fiscal-year revenues over one-year and five-year time spans. This is the second time Rockland has made the list.
According to the release, Rockland's revenues grew 232 percent last year.
"We made a commitment to be the market leader in pizza restaurant computer systems, and our team has embraced that goal to achieve our success," said Rockland President and CEO Tom Bronson. "Our strong focus on our customers and our commitment to stay on the cutting edge of technology has fueled our phenomenal growth."
The company sells and services POS units for multiple independent pizza operations, as well as chains such as Little Caesars, Pizza Inn, Pizza Guys and Snappy Tomato.
