On the heels of its first set of international locations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the first half of 2013, Russo's Restaurants announced plans for further global growth of it Russo's New York Pizzeria brand.

Additional locations are set to open throughout the Middle East this year, and strategic expansion is also set for markets across Europe and Asia.

"Our locations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are exceeding all our expectations," said Chef Anthony Russo, founder and CEO of Russo's Restaurants. "We have already built a very loyal customer base, people love our New York-style pizza and authentic Italian dishes; especially our 28-inch XL party pizza. It's a huge hit in the UAE."

In addition to international growth, since launching its franchising initiative, Russo's has expanded into additional U.S. markets beyond its Houston home market. In the past decade, locations have been added in markets such as Houston, Memphis, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Southern Florida, with Hawaii opening shortly as well.
