Sam and Louie's expands Nebraska presence

A new Sam & Louie's is set to open in Scottsbluff, Neb., the week of June 10.

New owners Melissa and Chad Schneider said the brand, which specializes in New York-style pizza, is a good fit for the Scottsbluff community.

The new restaurant will include catering, take-out, a lunch menu, a gluten-free menu and more. In addition to New York-style pizza, Sam & Louie's also offers pastas, calzones, Stromboli, burgers and salads.

Prior to the opening, the restaurant will host an event to train its staff one last time, and will team up with the United Way by collecting donations.

The Sam & Louie's Corporation is headquartered in Nebraska, opening the first restaurant in 1994 in Omaha, and now has 24 locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Montana, South Dakota and Kansas.
