Sam & Louie's creates new pizza for Make-A-Wish fundraiser

Sam & Louie's has partnered with Make-A-Wish, an organization dedicated to the mission of granting wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. As part of the partnership, each Sam & Louie's location will donate a portion of proceeds from their new Sicilian Style Pizzas to local Make-A-Wish chapters.

"We wanted to do something unique to help support this special organization so we created this new menu item right here in our test kitchen and we are excited to be introducing them to our customers. These new Sicilian pizzas are over an inch thick, have a different shape and are loaded with toppings. We used different sauces to create the new flavors for our customers," said Joe Griffith, director of Operations at Sam & Louie's.

The new pizzas will be offered through the end of August and have been introduced at a low price point to encourage guests to purchase them, according to the company.

There are 24 Sam & Louie's locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Montana and South Dakota.
