Chuck Schnatter, brother to "Papa" John Schnatter and recent retiree of the latter's juggernaut business, Papa John's International, has opted into the coffee business, according to Business First of Louisville. He's now a licensee of Kentucky-based Java Inc., and co-owner of Green Beans LLC, a Java Brewing operation.

From the story:

Running a coffee shop requires three or four employees, compared with as many as 25 employees per store to prepare and deliver pizza, he said.

Moreover, coffee drinkers visit coffee shops daily as opposed to the pizza world, where getting a customer once or twice per month is considered a success, according to Schnatter.

“It’s the only product I can think of that people want every single day, and some people five or six times a week,” he said.
